Progressive Center for Independent Living

The Progressive Center for Independent Living provides a range of core services and programs aimed at enhancing the lifestyles of people with disabilities. With its IHC grant, Progressive CIL is focusing on the development of disability-centered emergency management in Mercer and Hunterdon counties by assessing existing response plans and emergency shelter accessibility, training professional responders, delivering mental-health-first aid trainings, and assessing the accessibility of businesses and other public spaces.
