IHC Recipients Gather for Annual Convening

NJ Department of Human Services’ Division of Disability Services held their annual Inclusive Healthy Communities event at Rutgers University. Commissioner Sarah Adelman, Deputy Commissioner of Aging Services Kaylee McGuire, and DDS Executive Director and IHC founder Peri Nearon highlighted the long-lasting impact of supporting individuals with disabilities in the communities in which they live, work, learn, and play.

A keynote address by Sarah Napoli, Learning Services Director at the Disability Philanthropy Forum, was followed by a series of workshops and networking opportunities.

The IHC Grant Program provides funding opportunities for communities and organizations in the Garden State to help build more equitable communities that support individuals with disabilities.
